Preschool Open House

Well it's that time of year, school is starting. Everett will be back in the Tuesday/Thursday class at Saint Johns. I'm not as sad about his going as I was last year because I know how much he loves it. I think he has matured alot since last year so that will help a lot. Everett has begun asking why TO EVERYTHING, so Kudos to any teacher who can stand having 21 kids ask them WHY! :)

Trying to make it even.

Emma playing with the blocks (Emma was in Heaven the whole time)

Rett said this chair is Awesome!

Emma found the puzzles, yes she finished this one it was for ages 3 & up :)

This is one of those things you look in and see pictures I didn't know they still made them.
And I love the little loft thing they have on the left side, I want one in our basement:)
These were awesome

Rett & Zach built a "fort"

There is a lot of kids in Rett's class that I know the parents but Everett doesn't know anyone. That makes me a little nervous, but he didn't know anyone last year either and still had fun so it should be fine. Zach, Everett's bff is in the PM class instead of the AM like Rett.

That's what you get for not wearing gloves!

Some friends and I decided to get together last week and make some tie dyed shirts. We had a BLAST, even the little kids got involved in the dipping of their shirts. There were quite a few of us making shirts we had Ashley, Camden, and Ambree; Cassie and Aubrey; Julie, Zach and Cole; Steph, Jacy, Kaylee, and Kyler; and Me, Everett, ALi,and Emma. The only problem we had was we should have assigned someone to bring gloves because we all had dyed hands for Story Time the next day!

The Kiddos Party

Since I'm very far behind on blogging I guess I will start with the kiddos birthday party. We had the party in the back yard again, it seams to work out pretty well that way. It was so hot that we asked all the kids friends to bring swimsuits so they could swim. It was a blast, thank you to everyone that came, it really means a lot to Cody, the kids and I.

Their Cakes, Emma had Little Mermaid & Rett had Toy Story

The Fireworks

The Fireworks for Charles City were postponed until last Saturday, due to rain on the 4th. We went to the Sonne's to watch them, they had a perfect view. I still miss the fireworks over the river though, we couldn't hear the loud BOOM from where we were sitting :(. It was quite the process to get the kids to stay awake until the fireworks at 10:00! We were camping all weekend in Nashua so they were pretty pooped by 9:00, but we go them there. Once we were there they loved it. Emma would clap and say pretty. Everett was also sad he couldn't hear the boom, but he still had fun!

Kids Day Part 2

Last year we were too late for the Smiley Train (don't ask me why they don't run it all day) and Everett had to leave before riding it. So the Smiley train was the first thing we got in line for this year!

The line was a little long (as to be expected) Emma wasn't having much fun at all! But I had a couple extra balloons in the diaper bag and that seamed to help!

Retters on the other hand stood in line very well :)

I was a little unsure as to rather or not to put Emma on the train (she was kind of a stinker all morning) put she asked to go so I figured if she freaked out I could run up and grab her. But there was no need to they both loved it!

then it was on to the bounce houses. I don't know about you guys but I loved bounce house when I was little! Everett on the other hand has always been a little unsure of them. And of course little Emma begged to go in! These aren't the best shots as I had to stick my head in the "house" to take the picture.

Everett loved this one (I didn't let Emma go as there was rowdy big kids in this one, I didn't want her to get jumped on, that and I didn't want to have to go in and get her either :)

After the inflatables we stopped at the Tropical Sno Trailer and were home bond, where all three of us took a nap :)

Pool Fun

Everett & Zach Sonne in the pool :) Emma & Cole (Zach's little brother) were in the sandbox I don't know why I didn't take pictures of them. The big boys would jump off the slide into the water.
