Decorating Our Tree

 We decorated our Christmas tree the Sunday after Thanksgiving I just haven't posted pictures yet.

 We blared some Carebears Christmas music and Cody unwrapped all the ornaments.

 We had some special helpers over for supper so the supervised the tree decorating :)

I am happy to admit that I wrapped the kiddos presents today and even though I'm still paranoid (see previous post) they are under our tree.

The Kiddos Party

Since I'm very far behind on blogging I guess I will start with the kiddos birthday party. We had the party in the back yard again, it seams to work out pretty well that way. It was so hot that we asked all the kids friends to bring swimsuits so they could swim. It was a blast, thank you to everyone that came, it really means a lot to Cody, the kids and I.

Yes, she put them on herself. Yes, she really wears them indoors. Yes, she leaves them on. I blame Aunt Brandee for this she started getting Emma these sunglasses before she could walk. Emma probably has six differnt pairs and the day this picture was taken, she swore she had to wear them while eating supper.

CLEAR LAKE :)

Cody's Aunt/Godmother Mary Ann has been asking us to come see them for probably 3 years and FINALLY we made it there :) They live in Clear Lake, right on the lake so we went pontooning. We had so much fun, almost makes me want a pontoon if not for our lack of money.

When he was driving he down shifted just like on his Power Wheel. Only Cody’s child would know at 3yrs old that there had to be a shifter on there somewhere.


They loved looking at the water. One time when we stopped by some girls (probably around 16 years old) Everett yelled “Hi Ladies”


Emma didn’t take a nap all day. I was counting on her sleeping on the way over, but that didn’t happen. Both kids were still very well behaved even without naps. Emma was sleeping before we even made it off of I35 to The Avenue.

Girls Day Out

Aunt Brandee came home for Memorial Day Weekend :) and on Saturday I realized I had some Kohl's Cash to spend or it would expire. So we ran over to Mason I got some clothes for the kids and a pair of shoes for myself. Then Brandee treated us to Buffalo Wild Wings...yummy!
I don't know how many of you know, but Emma LOVES balls. When we walked into Bufflo Wild Wings they had balloons by the door, Emma went nuts wanting one. After listening to her whine for a minute or two Brandee went up got a balloon for her. You would have thought you handed Emma a check for a million dollars, she played with her balloon more than she ate her lunch.

I know I'm a little Late but it's been a long weekend. Brandee got the kids these suckers and they were a blast :)

Sibling Love

It's no secret my kids don't really like each other. As much as it pains me to say that its the truth. I spent most of my day telling them both to share and be nice to each other. The rest of my day I spend trying to convince myself that this to will pass and one day they will be friends:) So anything I can do with both of them at the same time is GREAT! Brandee got the kids these puzzle people last year for... ehhhh, Sorry Brandee I don't remember when you got them for the kids. Anywho they love them and there is more than enough pieces for each child so they can play together:) Everett made one bear person, looked at it for a second and then said "Uncle Chris Bear." This started a trend so then we had to make an Ashley and Brandee bear too.
