Meet Brudess

One year when my sister mom and I were shopping at American Eagle my mom spotted this stuffed dog. My mom has a thing for stuffed animals so she of course bought it. Fast forward like 8 years later and this stuffed puppy was on a shelf in "The Tator Room" aka Everett's room at my mom and dads. Everett decided for what ever reason to fall in love with this dog. He takes it everywhere with him and takes his coat, boats, and glasses off when he gets home and puts them all on before he can leave the house. He even forgot him once at my parents and Grandpa came to the rescue and brought him into town at 9:00 at night.

I love that the kiddos have special stuffed animals truth be told I still sleep with a teddy bear :)

Oh The Things Everett Says

This is our conversation on the way home yesterday.

Everett: Why do Gas Trucks stop at Rail Road tracks?
Me: Because they want to be sure there isn't a train coming so they don't cause an explosion
Everett: Will School Buses explode too?
Me: No they stop because they have so many kiddos in the bus
Everett: Why
Me: Because kiddos are precious cargo so they want to be extra safe
Everett: If a truck had a race car in it would it stop to be safe
Me: no, only if the lights were on.
Everett: But, Mom a Race car is precious cargo too!

Only Cody's son would compare children and cars as "precious." Yup my 5 year old is a motor head!

Our Sweet Baby Is SIX Months Old

Dear Easton,
Where has time gone? I can't believe you are already 6mos! Even more I can't believe how much you have grown, you are so close to crawling, you scoot everywhere. The day will come very soon when you figure out how to pop those knees up and I will be in trouble. You can sit alone when your not paying attention but if I set you up you tumble right over. You no longer want anything to do with your paci or your swing.

You have many loves one is your Jumperoo I think you would spend hours in it if I let you. Another is rolling around on the floor playing with your toys. You take at least 2 naps, sometimes you take a nap in the evening.
You will go to pretty much anyone but especially like when Everett hold you or plays with you. You spend a lot of time just watching him in amazement and I have no doubt you will grow to be great friends.
You drink between 6oz to 8oz of Simlilac Sensitive, and still nurse. You have cereal at night that your not a huge fan of. We started baby food about a week ago, you don't care much for squash or peas but liked the bananas. You wear Flip cloth diapers and 6 to 9mos clothes.
You are the happiest sweetest baby and we all love you so very much. You have completed our family and I feel truly blessed to call you my son.

Love Mom

My Sleepy Jumper

Easton LOVES his Jumperoo, like really really loves it. So much so that if he's not in it he wants you to bounce him in your arms. I put him in his Jumperoo while I was picking up, and I glanced over at him to realize he was sleeping and JUMPING! You would think if he was tired he would have fussed to get out, nope just passed out and would randomly start jumping again. The video isn't very clear that he's jumping (I should have backed up so you could see his feet) but when he moves around he's bouncing.

Movie Night

Friday on CBS they had a ton of Christmas movies on. Cody and I declared it a movie night and ordered pizza.
The kiddos were GLUED to Frosty,  one of my favorites too. It always cracks me up when I watch Frosty though because my little kid memory thinks Frosty is atleast an hour long when really its 30mins probably 20 without commericals.
Cody was all about having a day to just relax the only rule he had was to stay awake. He made it threw 3 out of 4 shows.
Look at my sweet baby holding his bottle all by himself!
Elf on The Shelf was the last movie we all watched, I thought it was super cute. The kiddos loved it because they kept looking for their Elf on The Shelf, Foodle Frank.

Lighted Express

The Lighted Express came threw CC last week. I took the big kiddos to see it and see Santa and his friends. This train would have been awesome at night, during the day I'm  not sure it was worth it. It was freezing that day the bank said 16degrees, yup pretty crazy of us to go but the kiddos enjoyed it :)

Happy

Easton has been given the nickname of "Happy" can you guess why?
Pretty sure he's all Schmitt in this bath tub shot! P.S. this bathseat is a must!!!

Easton would jump in his jumperoo, eat, and sleep all day if he could!

First Snow

I forgot I had these pictures. Last Saturday was the first snow that stuck around. It was kinda yucky out all day Saturday but first thing Sunday the kiddos were begging to go outside. I went shopping with my mom and sister which left Cody the joy of bundling up the kiddos.
It also gave Cody the task of photographer.
And the task of Hot Coco maker. The kiddos told me all about it when I got home so I know they enjoyed it.

Keeping Secrets

We've always had the kiddos get each other something for Christmas and they always wrap the present themselves and we make a big deal out of how special it is when the kiddo is opening it that their sibling got it for them. I love this tradition because it teaches the kiddos that its just as fun to give...well I hope it teaches them that. Everett has been so good this year about keeping secret what he got Emma. If she asks he tell her I can't tell or it's a trampoline (clearly its not lol). This year Everett picked out a bracelet with her name on it for Emma and he wanted something with a tractor on it for Easton (i picked him out a tractor pillow case although he can't use it for awhile it will look cute on his bed) Emma got Everett a Nerf gun that shoot balls and Easton a train that pops balls out, can you tell Emma like balls. Easton (lol) got the kiddos some Cars 2 Cars.

Emma was so funny this year after she wrapped Everett's present and he got home, he was barley in the door and she told him "I got you gun" were I then lied to Everett and said no she didn't its something different. I don't know what I'm going to tell Everett on Christmas morning when he asks why I lied. I was hoping this would be the end of Emma telling the presents, nope she reminds him almost daily when they look at the presents "that one Bubba's Gun," I guess that's what I get for for telling a three year old a secret.

The kiddos loved seeing Santa.

Cheesy Pepper Jack Pizza

I didn't do food co-op on Tuesday with Ashley (I will tomorrow I got to get some much needed groceries prior to cooking for her. I put off grocery shopping anyways but when its cold it's at the bottom of my list) but this is what I concocted for supper Monday. I can't take all the credit Kwik Star does sell a Pepper Jack Pizza.
 Here's what you need
1 Pizza Crust
3 to 5 Jalapenos
1 cup chopped Red Pepper
Pizza Sauce
Mozz and Cheddar Cheese
 Chop Peppers
Add toppings evenly, then top with cheese.
*Make sure not to center load the pizza. Pizza's cook from the outside in so you don't want to much in the center.
Bake at 425 for 20mins or pizza is golden brown.

The most awesomest Christmas Site yet!

At mops today our coordinator told us about Portable North Pole, its a site where you enter your kiddos info and Santa sends them a video email back. I may have teared up watching the magic in Everett's eyes as he watched. He would talk to Santa like he could hear him and told Cody when he got home that he Skyped with Santa. I love love love this time of year! the website is www.portablenorthpole.tv

Again with debating our Christmas cards. I have a billion pics of Everett and Easton but not so many of Everett just smiling by himself. That was are mission today...I donno if we were successful.

He Reminds me of when he was younger here!
My golmer!

Mom, I'm sick of this!

See why he has a bunch of pictures with his siblings...he's so much more natural with them :)

Lunch Date

Emma had a little play date with her friend since birth, Ambree.  We thought we would spice it up a bit and go to the New Hampton McDonald's Play Place.
Who doesn't love a happy meal?
I realized when setting up Everett's play date for Friday that Emma never gets play dates with her friends, so she was very excited to bring Ambree with us. They jabbered in the back seat the whole way to McDonald's.

Look at Emma's long legs we all know she didn't get that from me!
One final photo with Ronald.
