Cody and Everett were downstairs, I was doing dishes in the kitchen, and Emma was being way to quite in the living room. When I went to check on her I found she had gotten into my purse and taken the sucker that my grandma made me take for Emma earlier in the day. She was being good just sitting in the chair playing with Mrs. Potato Head and sucking her sucker. I'm so glad that both of my children have always been able to entertain themselves!

Meet Snowy Nanner

YAY! It's finally warming up! Retters and I went outside to make a snowman, while Cody and Em went to the grocery store. I got the better end of the deal I know :) Everett had a blast making the snowman that he named Snowy Nanner, because his smile is a banana and well he's snowy. The only issue we had with the snowman was that when we went inside to get supplies for his face some thing (DAGEN, grrrr) peed on your snowman! Yes, you heard me, we were in the house for maybe five minutes and he couldn't find anything better to mark! I was SOOOOOOO mad and discussed, this is why I never plan to have another male dog EVER! So after our photo op with Yellow Snowy Nanner, we moved onto the swing set. (Did I ever mention Cody made this Swing set? no plans just a couple of measurements from Koko and Dewey's swing set. See he's good for some things :).)
EMMA IS FINALLY FEELING BETTER!!! Thank goodness! I thought that poor child was going to be sick forever. She didn't get to play outside today thought we didn't want to take any chances.
I got alot of spring cleaning done yesterday/today. The dining room is all clean except for the carpet. The toy room is organized. The downstairs bath is scrubbed. The tupper ware cabinet is organized. I only have a billion and a half things left to do but at least its progress.
I started doing the biggest loser for Wii again, this time I plan to stick with it. I would love for Cj to do it with me but I don't for see that happening anytime soon. So I will let everyone know how that's going. My "weigh in" is next friday. I of course picked Bob as my trainer: #1 I love him #2 Jillian scares me!
Craig and Jackie were kind enough to take the kids yesterday so Cj and I could have a date night. They put the kids to bed here and Everett woke up at 4:30am crying. When I went in his room he said "I wanted Papa Craig and Grandma J!" I said they weren't here anymore and he cried some more but went back to bed. Oh and Jackie matched my socks :) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I had all the laundry done in the whole house which meant a billion socks and she was sweet and matched them for me!

Brush your Teeth, Teeth brush your little teeth.

I don't know why, and I'm not complaining but both of my kids love to brush their teeth. Our night time routine is baths, brush teeth, read a book and then to bed. Them brushing their teeth is the only way to get them out of the bath. The reading of the book part sometimes includes Emma and sometimes doesn't(she's normally not to into books at bedtime), but Everett loves story time. I took him to the Library last Thursday for story hour and he loved it. We checked out four books and we read them all the first day and have read only the Library books for the past week. This Thursday we didn't make it to story time as I didn't want to infect the rest of the world with our germs. We will most likely have to do a Library run tomorrow so I don't have to read "If You Bring A Mouse To School" again tomorrow night.

I would LOVE to report that we are all back to normal and doing fine, but little Emma is still not feeling like herself, she's still not sleeping threw the night, and she's still needs Tylenol about every four hours. Hopefully tomorrow I can report that she's is feeling better. My parents took Rett last night to give me a little break. He reported back that Grandpa picked him up in his work truck. Then they went to The John Deere Store, which means Thiesens. Then they played with horses, ate Mac N Chez (which was really Spaghetti),played with cars and the Mack truck. He must have played really hard because he feel asleep in the car on the way home.

Still Sick :(

Update: Emma's still sick! She put in a little bit better night last night. She still wants to be held by anyone that will hold her. When I was making lunch she crawled up on Everett's lap on the couch. I thought it was super sweet! I hope this whole getting along thing continues after she feels better! (I'm sorry the picture quality isn't the best it's from my camera phone)

On a HAPPY note: Cody brought home Girl Scout Cookies! Someone might have snuck a couple!

JINXED!!

After telling people that Emma had gone over a year with no fever. (She had a couple of runny noses in that time period, but no fevers and no throwing up either.) I clearly jinxed myself! Poor Emma is miserable, she was so sick she couldn't even stop hacking to take a nap yesterday! Thank goodness Cody came home early last night because all Emma wanted to do was be held! Cody had a bad dose of it early last week. Rett and I felt crappy on Sunday night, but were on the mend by Monday. Now poor Emma! I think hers has progressed into her ears because last night she was up every hour until 5:00 AM. She slept straight threw from 5am until 10:45am (yup, I typed that right) when I woke her up! She's napping now so hopefully she will soon be feeling better!

Everett decided all by himself that it would make Emma feel better if he read her a book. I walked into the living room to see them curled but together! Pretty priceless if you ask me :)

I Spy!

Emma decided it would be a fun idea to pull all the stuffed animals out of the toy box and crawl in. When I was picking them all back up she kept jumping back in. This was of course very fun to her so Rett thought he would join in on the fun too. So can you spy a little Em and a little Rett amongst all the toys :) Hint: Everett is the only one is the first picture and they are both in the second picture.

Sibling Love

It's no secret my kids don't really like each other. As much as it pains me to say that its the truth. I spent most of my day telling them both to share and be nice to each other. The rest of my day I spend trying to convince myself that this to will pass and one day they will be friends:) So anything I can do with both of them at the same time is GREAT! Brandee got the kids these puzzle people last year for... ehhhh, Sorry Brandee I don't remember when you got them for the kids. Anywho they love them and there is more than enough pieces for each child so they can play together:) Everett made one bear person, looked at it for a second and then said "Uncle Chris Bear." This started a trend so then we had to make an Ashley and Brandee bear too.
