Yesterday we had a fun filled day of running errons. We made lunch for Cody and brought it to work to eat with him. Then we ran to Hy-Vee to get stuff for supper and orange trash bags. (For all you out of towners: we have to put our trash in special orange bags before they will pick it up.) Then we took pop cans back. When we got home from doing all of that it was time for Emma's nap. Everett helped me put the garbage in the bags, sort the recycling, and take it out to the curb. I guess when your 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 that is a lot of work because at 5:30pm both kid were still napping! Emma is no problem to wake up, but if your going to wake Everett up be prepared for World War III. He has never liked to be woke up EVER! Not even if he's waking up for something fun and exciting like Grandpa picking him up. I let him sleep until 6 figuring he would have woke up before that, as he naps on the couch and we weren't being quite. He didn't, I had to wake him up and deal with a grouch the rest of the night. Shockingly they were both in bed by 9:15 and neither of them got out of bed. I guess they just needed a good snooze on a gloomy day like yesterday.
